This story was only made to introduce Vicki the
new companion, not to be great. But it is. Vicki, contrary to later
appearances, is actually bearable, William Hartnell gives his finest
performance, there’s a shocking, unexpected reveal, and it’s a great example of
the show making do with few resources. 9/10.
