EFFECT (2013, Seventh Doctor & Ace, Doctor Who Prose)The idea of good Daleks is definitely overused now. This is by no means the best story in the series, and a little obsessed with its premise of ‘the ripple effect’. The Doctor and Ace aren’t realised brilliantly either, but there are gorgeous visuals and a good sense of drama. 6/10. 50 words.
