DOCTOR WHO @ 50
I uphold a theory that it’s impossible for a Doctor Who fan to watch this and not
have a tear in their eye. David Bradley, Brian Cox, Jessica Raine, Sacha Dhawan
– that’s the best cast ever. Mark Gatiss has written the loveliest script ever
for a truly monumental docu-drama. The sets are absolutely beautiful, perfect
recreations of the originals. David Bradley’s performance is haunting yet still
comedic in places. This is surely the most comprehensive and accurate account
of the genesis of Doctor Who ever
(barring a documentary called “Beginnings”). With amazing performances and
amazing script, this is absolutely stunning. 10/10. 100 words.
